The Armed Forces are under constant attack from Russian FPV drones, which inflict heavy casualties among our military every day. To save the lives and health of the Ukrainian defenders, we need electronic warfare equipment ("EW"). The 44th Separate Artillery Brigade is appealing to all concerned to support this crucial fundraiser.
Electronic Warfare (EW) equipment is crucial because it disrupts, deceives, or denies enemy use of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is vital for communication, navigation, and targeting in modern warfare. EW tools can prevent or reduce the effectiveness of enemy drones, missiles, and other electronic devices by jamming their signals or spoofing them, thereby protecting military forces and critical infrastructure. This capability is especially important in countering the threat of FPV drones, which rely on electronic signals for control and navigation. By using EW equipment, forces can protect their personnel and equipment from surveillance and attacks, enhancing their overall combat effectiveness and survivability on the battlefield.
One EW (Electronic Warfare) device operates within a 200m radius and jams the frequencies used by enemy FPV drones, after which the drone loses control and falls without hitting its target. For example, 30 EW devices can create a protection stretch of over 12 km.
This device can be used for temporary cover of a column of vehicles or a moving unit. It protects air defense systems, trenches and dugouts, and military vehicles.
